Why are the options in the Pricing page listed as:
1h-3h or 1w-2w
But the bare minimum deadline is an entire week? Like, the math doesn't seem to be adding up, isn't that right? So, we'll be going over that and a some more.
The one week minimum is a cushion period of time stablished in order to prevent situations where Ione might need to delay their work progress for a few hours or even days without having to go into a full hiatus. Which is a whole other thing!
Hiatus are when an a person or business pauses their activities during a period of time that might span from a few weeks to months, or even years. Usually done out of necessity because of situations that require their full attention and care, any work commenced before it is put on hold until they're able to become active again.
Mine, for example, is 2 months long! Although, I have had to extend it to longer periods of time before, much to mine and my clients discontention. But it is usually due to matters related to family, financial or to focus on my studies.
The listed times are how long I might take on a good day or week and so on, where no incidents happen and I don't encounter any daily life struggles that could turn out to be unavoidable as I assume we are all very well aware of.
That is also the reason why I organize my queue in a bimonthly manner, so if I do need to go into hiatus, it'll be within the expected time frame of things.
Still, sometimes, I can't really help but to end up late. So, I make sure to at least try and communicate with each and every one of my clients whenever that happens. I mean it's the bare minimum expected from me, isn't it?
At least, it's what I also expect from my clients whenever the inverse situation occurs, since it helps me to rest easy knowing they're doing well and didn't just drop off from the face of the Earth.
So, even if you lose interest in the commission, please just let me know!
We can surely work something out and part in good terms ♥
